Carpenter (Reactive Maintenance)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced carpenter to work within out Reactive Maintenance Department on a full-time basis.  The role will require an individual who is willing to work long hours, travel extensively and work on a call-out rota (weekends/evenings), carrying out carpentry works on remedial jobs, 24 hour maintenance and some project work.

The successful candidate will be experienced in the carpentry trade, preferably with a minimum Level 2 qualification and holder of an up-to-date CSCS card.

You will be an excellent communicator, uphold a steadfast work ethic and be able to work well within a team, as well as using your initiative when working individually.

Purchaser

We are currently recruiting for a professional and experienced Purchaser to work throughout all areas of the company.

The Purchaser will be responsible for providing an effective support function to departmental managers and the accounts department.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day managment of purchasing throughout the company 
  • Resolving internal and external procurement queries
  • Managing data and financial records with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Comprehensive reporting and data analysis
  • Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to meet operational needs

 The successful candidate will at least 1 year's experience working in procurement, desirably in the facilities management or construction industry.

You must possess excellent IT skills, including an in-depth knowledge and track record of using MS Office and SAGE.

You must also have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proven track-record of purchasing within a fast-moving, dynamic and highly pressured environment
  • Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks with the ability to indentify urgency
  • Ability to manage and organise your own time and records to ensure dealines and targets are met
  • Ability to work well amongst different teams
  • Ability to work well individually, using initiative and proactivity where necesary
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude
  • A tactful and discreet nature
